Black Light Circle band is Artie Desbiens Guitars, Keyboards and Vocals,  and Karen Desbiens Lead vocals and Bass Guitar.  they are based  in the Los Angeles area of Southern California. They are heavily influenced by 70's classic rock; . They share vocals, and feature electric and acoustic guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, and drums. Their debut CD Lothlorien contains acoustic as well as rock tracks, with a lot of vocal harmony throughout; it's a very diverse musical endeavor, and reminiscent of songs from the '70's. The band concentrates on venues that cater to original music, however, they can and will perform covers on occasion; everything from Led Zeppelin to CSN&Y. Black Light Circle has been featured on the Scott Rox Radio show, KSVY 97.1 out of Sonoma, CA, Rock On Radio and What’s Next as the guests of Danny Coleman.

December 2016: Black Light Circle is happy to announce the release of their second CD, Colours of Cats, an exclusive mix of old school rock with a 70's flavor, with a dash of country rock, and a beautiful ballad for good measure. Give it a listen! 

June 2017: Black Light Circle's third CD, Mythical Creatures, has just been released! On Mythical Creatures, the bands musical roots are evident, with power-driven guitars strong, bluesy vocals. Give it a listen, the tunes will be in your head for days. If you're a blues/old school rock fan, you will love it!  

July 2017: Black Light Circle is proud to announce the endorsement of JCR Originals/London. Check out their website at www.jcr.london.  

9/17: Black Light Circle is proud to announce the release of their fourth CD, entitled Magical Matches. 2/18: Currently, Black Light Circle are working on their fifth CD, entitled Black Light Circle 5. The first release, “Anymore”, is available for download right here on ReverbNation. We will be playing the Stanhope House on 3/24, opening for Casey Abrams, and are honored to be playing at the Veteran’s Benefit, also at the Stanhope House, on May 27.
